Join Dr. Kevin Orlin Johnson for a discussion of his new book, The Lincoln's in the White House: Slanders, Scandals, and Abe Lincoln's Slave Trading, Revealed.

Did Abraham Lincoln own slaves? Or better yet, did Lincoln not only own slaves but sell slaves? Kevin Johnson argues yes in this provocative new book. Using new evidence he unearthed from painstaking research deep in little used archives, Johnson finds that not only did Lincoln own slaves, he financially benefited from the sale of those slaves. This would change the entire narrative of "Honest Abe."
